Welcome to the Institute of Work Psychology of the
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH)

Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences

On 1st April 2005 the Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences (ZOA) was establisehd. It was
created by merging two institutes. By this means, the former Institute of Hygiene and Applied Physiology as
well as the former Institute of Work Psychology plan to even enforce their already close cooperation in
Research and Education.

The Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences (ZOA) consists of two independent professorships (the former IfaP), likewise independent research Groups (the former Institute of Hygiene and Applied Physiology) and partners from a variety of fields. The professorships are led by Prof. Dr. Th. Wehner (Psychology in Work and Society) and  Prof. Dr. G. Grote (Organization, Work and Technology).
